Protecting your personal data is extremely important to us. Therefore, we process your data exclusively in accordance with legal requirements (DSG 2018, GDPR, TKG 2003). In this privacy information, we aim to explain the key aspects of data processing on our website.
Please read this statement carefully, as it describes how we collect, process, and store your personal data. Every access to our website and every retrieval of a file stored on it is logged. This logging serves internal system-related and statistical purposes. The following data is recorded: name of the retrieved file, date and time of access, amount of data transferred, confirmation of successful retrieval, web browser, requesting domain, IP address of the requesting computer, search terms, and other relevant data.
We process and store all personal data you provide to us via email inquiries (e.g., name, address, email address, phone number) to respond to your request and to maintain customer relationships. These data are retained until you request their deletion in writing.
Additional personal data are only collected if you voluntarily provide them through an inquiry, registration, contract conclusion, or via your browser settings. Should we share data with external service providers, we ensure through appropriate technical and organizational measures that the transfer complies with applicable data protection regulations.

2. Access data / server log files
2.1. The provider (or its web hosting provider) collects data on accesses to the website in so-called server log files. Access data includes: name of the accessed website or file, date and time of access, amount of data transferred, confirmation of successful retrieval, browser type and version, user’s operating system, referrer URL (previously visited website), IP address, and the requesting provider.
2.2. The provider uses the log data solely for statistical analysis for the purposes of website operation, security, and optimization. However, the provider reserves the right to review the log data retrospectively if there are concrete indications of suspected illegal use..
3. Handling of personal data
3.1. We automatically collect and store information in our server log files that your browser transmits to us. This includes: browser type and version, operating system used, referrer URL (the previously visited page), hostname of the accessing computer (IP address), and the time of the server request. These data cannot be linked to specific individuals. No merging of this data with other data sources occurs, and the data is used solely for statistical analysis.
3.2. Personal data is only collected, used, or shared by us if permitted by law or if the users consent to the data collection.
4. Cookies
We would like to inform you that during your visit to our website, we use cookies for advertising and communication purposes, to facilitate logins (or registrations), to process inquiries, and to prevent spam (see also allaboutcookies.org). These are small text files stored on your device by your browser. Cookies help us make our offerings more user-friendly. Some cookies remain on your device until you delete them, allowing us to recognize your browser on your next visit.
4.1. If you do not wish this, you can configure your browser to notify you when cookies are set and allow them only on a case-by-case basis. Please note that disabling cookies may limit the functionality of our website.
4.2. Session Cookie (local): This is a technical cookie that stores the user’s actions within a website and is deleted when leaving the site.
4.3. Disabling, deleting, or blocking cookies: On our website, you can control the use of individual cookies using the methods described here. However, please note that disabling cookies may affect the full use of the website.
- Firefox: Delete cookies to remove data stored by websites on your computer

5. Web analytics
Our website uses features of the web analytics service Google Analytics, provided by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. Cookies are used for this purpose to enable an analysis of website usage. The information generated is transmitted to a Google server and stored there. Further information on how Google Analytics handles user data can be found in Google’s Privacy Policy at this link.
5.2. You can prevent the storage of cookies by adjusting your browser settings accordingly. The information generated by cookies about your use of this website (including your IP address) is transmitted to a Google server and stored there. Google uses this information to evaluate your use of the website and to compile reports on website activity. We use this information solely for our own market research and to optimize the website design.
5.3. Google may share this information with third parties if required by law or if third parties process the data on Google’s behalf. Google will not associate your IP address with other data. You can prevent the installation of cookies by configuring your browser software accordingly. However, some functions of this website may then be limited. By using this website, you consent to the processing of data collected about you by Google in the manner and for the purposes described.
5.4. If you do not want your anonymized data to be used for website analysis, you can use the GA Opt-Out tool to disable this.
5.5. The processing of your data is based on our legitimate interest or the legitimate interest of third parties to improve our website and services. The relationship with the web analytics provider is based on an adequacy decision of the European Commission (in the case of the USA: “Privacy Shield”).
5.6. Data processing is also carried out based on the legal provisions of § 96 para. 3 TKG as well as Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f (legitimate interest) of the GDPR. Our concern, in the sense of the GDPR (legitimate interest), is the improvement of our offerings and our online presence.
6. IP anonymization
We use the “IP anonymization” feature. This ensures that your IP address is shortened by Google within EU member states or other countries of the European Economic Area (EEA) before transmission. Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. Google uses this information on behalf of the operator of this website to evaluate your use of the website, compile reports on website activity, and provide other services related to website and internet usage. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics is not merged with other data held by Google.
7. Integration of third-party services and content
7.1. Our website includes content from third parties, such as YouTube videos, Google Maps, RSS feeds, or graphics from other websites. To display this content, it is necessary for the providers of these contents to collect users’ IP addresses, as they cannot deliver the content to the user’s browser without it. Therefore, the IP address is required for the display of these contents. We strive to use only content whose providers use the IP address solely for content delivery. However, we have no control over whether third-party providers store the IP address for purposes such as statistical analysis. If we are aware of such practices, we inform users accordingly.
7.1.1. YouTube Videos: Our website embeds videos stored on YouTube. YouTube is a service provided by Google. For all YouTube videos on this website, the so-called “enhanced privacy mode” is enabled. This ensures that YouTube does not store cookies with personal data on your device as long as you do not play the video. When the page is loaded and the videos are embedded, the IP address is transmitted, which cannot be associated with you unless you are logged in to YouTube or another Google service. Once you play an embedded video, YouTube only stores cookies that do not contain personally identifiable information. These cookies can be blocked through appropriate browser settings and extensions. Further information about embedding YouTube videos can be found on YouTube’s information page.
7.1.2. Other Third-Party Content: Our website also contains content from providers such as Google Maps, Instagram, and Xing. Here too, collecting users’ IP addresses is necessary to deliver the content to their browsers. We strive to use only content whose providers use the IP address solely for content delivery. However, we have no control over whether these providers store the IP address for purposes such as statistical analysis. If we are aware of such practices, we inform users accordingly.
8. Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict processing, data portability, withdraw consent, and object. If you believe that the processing of your data violates applicable data protection laws or that your data protection rights have been infringed in any way, you may file a complaint with the supervisory authority at any time. In Austria, this is the Data Protection Authority:
