6. IP anonymization
We use the “IP anonymization” feature. This ensures that your IP address is shortened by Google within EU member states or other countries of the European Economic Area (EEA) before transmission. Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics is not merged with other data held by Google.
7. Integration of third-party services and content
7.1. Our website includes content from third parties, such as YouTube videos, Google Maps, RSS feeds, or graphics from other websites. To display this content, it is necessary for the providers of these contents to collect users’ IP addresses, as they cannot deliver the content to the user’s browser without it. Therefore, the IP address is required for the display of these contents. We strive to use only content whose providers use the IP address solely for content delivery. However, we have no control over whether third-party providers store the IP address for purposes such as statistical analysis. If we are aware of such practices, we inform users accordingly.
7.1.1. YouTube Videos: Our website embeds videos stored on YouTube. YouTube is a service provided by Google. For all YouTube videos on this website, the so-called “enhanced privacy mode” is enabled. This ensures that YouTube does not store cookies with personal data on your device as long as you do not play the video. When the page is loaded and the videos are embedded, the IP address is transmitted, which cannot be associated with you unless you are logged in to YouTube or another Google service. Once you play an embedded video, YouTube only stores cookies that do not contain personally identifiable information. These cookies can be blocked through appropriate browser settings and extensions.
